An interview with, well, me.

It's an interesting experience, being interviewed.

Of course, I've interviewed bucketloads of people. I considered myself pretty empathetic to what I figured was a bit of a daunting experience. But until I was interviewed myself, I've never really given thought to how nail-bitingly, hair-twiddlingly, finger-tappingly nerve-wracking the feeling of being interviewed actually is.

Once you get a wrangle on your emotions, it's actually a really good opportunity for self-reflection. A chance to think about why you set out on the journey of setting up a business. Of the impact of family and the world-pivoting moment of becoming a parent. Of how you become stronger and more vulnerable all at the same time, and somehow that means you are more willing to take risks. And how the pay-off is much, much more rewarding than you could ever imagine.

And I was so touched when Uldouz, founder of The Mother's Den, was interested in my story, that I just couldn't shush...
