ACCOUNT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION DETAILS:
Role: Account Manager
Reporting to: Brooke Hill

Hours: 8-10 hours/week

Their previous experience:
· 3 years minimum in marketing, creative or content-related role
· Must have worked in an agency before
· Client side experience preferred, but not essential
· Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects at once
· Demonstrated experience improving and implementing processes
Their personality:
· Unflappable – cool, calm and contented
· Empathetic – needs to be able to build great relationships with clients and copywriters
· Intuitive
RESPONSIBILITIES
70% - Project managing content production
- Accepting job bookings (responding to clients same day/within 24 hours)
- Setting up projects (using Asana for project tracking)
- Checking/Refining briefs (ensuring the briefs are in the best possible shape for our copywriters – and reading between the lines to identify gaps)
- Briefing copywriters (being clear about deadlines – allowing time for editing - and budgets)
- Scheduling interviews (liaising between client, interviewee and copywriter)
- Fielding questions on client briefs (being the go-between – demonstrating initiative to find the answers)
- Delivering drafts (always on time, and managing expectations well in advance in the rare case that deadlines need to be shifted)
- Delivering final approved content (always on time, and managing expectations well in advance in the rare case that deadlines need to be shifted)
- Raising invoice requests (following the bookkeeping process)
20% - New clients communications
- Responding to new client enquiries (responding same day/within 24 hours)
- Raising quote requests
- Referring new business (where relevant)
10% - Admin
- Weekly team meeting
- Job log updated daily (shared weekly)
- Updating Asana
PACKAGE
$50/hour
