For over 18 years, I’ve written copy for some of Australia’s, and the world’s, leading brands.

For Sheridan, I’ve crafted stories of designs painted by hand and woven stitch by stitch. For Paspaley, I’ve told tales of peril and prestige, of farming for fortune, of the journey of passion and precision that is the quest for the perfect pearl. For fragrance brands Valentino and Gucci, I’ve evoked the spirits of fashion icons.

I cut my teeth writing for The Australian Women’s Weekly, Harpers Bazaar and Cumberland Newspapers. In London, working as Director Designate for international communications agency Talk PR, I crafted stories for Procter & Gamble brands Valentino & Gucci fragrances, SK-II, Herbal Essences and Aussie haircare. As a global communications agency, these stories were used across the world to gain coverage and convert readers to buyers. Back in Australia, I marketed retail giant David Jones, built brand equity in Paspaley as Brand Manager and transformed Sheridan to a lifestyle brand as Senior Marketing Manager. Through a unique combination of literary and marketing experience, I know how to inspire the imagination and how to marry stories with sales.

As the founder and lead writer at The Content(ed) Copywriter, I help brands across a wide variety of industries to achieve their business goals. I'm responsive, considered and detail-oriented. I'm proactive, intuitive and commercially-minded. I believe stories should be strategic, and I can help not only tell brand stories, but build the foundations from which great stories can be told.

I have a Bachelor of Media and a Post Graduate Certificate in Writing and Literature. I have a husband, a daughter and a dog. I also have 3 typewriters, 2 computers, and 3 boxes of fairytale stories, written by me as a youngster who dreamed of becoming a writer.
